12 Days of Small Business: Michael Gerrald, Qore Finance
Small Business has its challenges, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, we all have to do our part to support each other and the small businesses with which we are connected. So, W3 Consulting is promoting small businesses through our campaign, 12 Days of Small Business. We hope to highlight each day a small business (or two) that can benefit from visibility and that will benefit our audience.
Michael Gerrald is passionate about Qore and building a personal finance movement. And, it shows in his tenacity to do the hard work to get his venture off the ground. I’m pleased to introduce Michael and Qore, and I wish him the best of luck in helping as many people as possible find personal financial stability and independence.

Michael Gerrald, as a full-time employee, Michael used his free time to help colleagues, family members and friends with managing their personal finances. This experience fueled his passion to launch Qore Finance, a personal finance mobile application that empowers the financially conscious and the underserved to lead a financially fit lifestyle. Michael believes that everyone has the right to financial wellness and aims to democratize personal finance by providing Qore’s users with the knowledge, tools and the system to achieve it.

How is your Small Business unique, different in your industry? What’s your business’s greatest strength/asset today?
We are our own customers, we created this system that started from an excel sheet to help us grow financially when no other app could. We are providing industry first Virtual Accounts, value based financial management, and a place where our users can learn and practice what they’ve learned in one place.
What is your greatest challenge as a Small Business owner? How are you working to overcome that challenge in 2021?
Getting funding, increasing marketing efforts. We decided to provide webinars and a blog to increase growth and initiate revenue.
