Webiquette [also, netiquette] (noun) — it’s a portmanteau of network (or, Internet) and etiquette; it describes a set of ever-developing guidelines for interacting well with others on the Web, mobile devices and digital communication generally. For example, typing IN ALL CAPS SUCH AS THIS is very rude and is considered yelling to most readers, so it should be avoided (there’s italics, bold, underlining and punctuation for emphatic statements of a wide variety). To learn more, visit the famous Netiquette Guidelines and Webiquette on Wikipedia.
